Our Story

We’ve always loved coffee. We’ve always cared about good ingredients. But every vanilla syrup we tried tasted the same: too sweet, overly artificial, and completely forgettable. Even the high-end ones felt like they used shortcuts, using vanilla extracts instead of the real deal.

So, we started experimenting.

What began as a simple kitchen project quickly became a mission to create a vanilla syrup that actually tastes like real vanilla beans. We sourced Madagascar beans for their soft, floral depth. We tested different extraction methods. And we kept the ingredient list intentionally simple: sugar, water, vanilla, and just a touch of citric acid. Nothing more. No extracts. No artificial colors.

Somewhere along the way, it stopped being just for us. Friends began asking for bottles. Friends of friends asked for bottles. That’s when we knew we’d made something worth sharing.

Our Ingredients

We will never cheat you by using artificial flavors, extracts, or by taking shortcuts.

Our ingredient list is short, sweet, and honest.

Sugar

Syrups, by definition, are a blend of sugar and water. We use a proprietary blend, and a special ratio to maximize flavor.

Our vanilla pods are grade A, organic, from Madagascar. We chose this varietal for the unique floral notes on the nose.

Citric Acid

Citric acid is used to help a chemical reaction to make the sugar taste sweeter, and also to help prevent undesired "intruders" like molds or botulism. Our citric acid is sourced from industrial yeast fermentation and is widely considered all-natural and vegan.
